Jack Mallers believes Bitcoin could be heading into one of the most explosive phases of its history as rising institutional demand collides with an asset whose supply simply cannot expand.
In this video, the Strike CEO explains why Bitcoin is fundamentally different from almost every other major asset and why that difference could eventually force BTC dramatically higher. Mallers’ argument starts with supply and demand.
When demand for gold rises, miners can search for new deposits. Oil producers can drill more. Companies can issue additional shares, and developers can build more real estate when prices become attractive enough.
Bitcoin cannot respond that way. Its monetary supply follows predetermined rules, meaning no amount of institutional demand, ETF inflows, government buying, or investor enthusiasm can suddenly create additional Bitcoin.
Mallers argues that when buyers want more BTC than existing holders are willing to sell, the market must find supply through one mechanism: a higher price. That is the foundation of his Bitcoin price discovery thesis.
The growth of spot Bitcoin ETFs makes this dynamic even more important. Traditional investors can now direct billions of dollars toward Bitcoin through regulated financial products, while the underlying supply remains constrained.
